# Overview

Projects in Edge Signal are similar to workspaces. Anything you see under **SERVICES** on the left menu are project-scoped.

This means sections like ***Devices***, ***Deployments***, and ***Alerts*** are all *filtered by project*.&#x20;

Sections under **ADMINISTRATION** are available to *all* projects. If you have an account application created under ADMINISTRATION, this application will be available to *all* projects.

### User Access

The *account owner* and *admins* are allowed to see all the projects under a particular account regardless of whether or not they are active users. Account users, however, are allowed to see *only* the projects to which they are assigned.
