The Edge Signal platform currently uses five metrics to monitor your registered devices:

  • CPU Usage in Time

  • Disk Usage in Time

  • Memory Usage in Time

  • CPU Temperature in Time

  • Data usage in Time

These metrics provide insight into the behavior and health of your devices. They represent the resources used by your application to build a holistic view of your deployments, allowing you to automate responses to changes, and alert humans when necessary. Metrics are the basic values used to understand historic trends, correlate diverse factors, and measure changes in the performance of your devices.
