# Upload Files

Uploading accompanying files to a deployment can happen in two ways:

#### When Creating A Deployment - 

* by navigating to ***Deployments*** in the **SERVICES** section of the sidebar, and clicking ***Create Deployment***

  * once you name your deployment and choose a device or device group, click the ***Continue*** button (bottom right-hand corner)

  * select the *Files* menu tab, and browse your computer to choose the relevant file
  * enter and confirm *Destination Path*, then click the ***Confirm*** button to upload the file

#### When Modifying A Deployment -&#x20;

* by navigating to the ***Deployments*** section of **SERVICES** in the sidebar, finding the relevant device, and selecting the ![](https://1204879013-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FZYB187EEnW8ZLhycUf73%2Fuploads%2FzUGImyWGCnNh4sW6WbAH%2Fdots15.jpg?alt=media\&token=9ecba6b8-dc49-48fc-b447-b7e7c5d5da21) in the *Actions* column and choosing *Modify Deployment*

  * as with *Creating A Deployment* above, click ***Continue*** after *Step 1. Basic Information*
  * at *Step 2.   * select the *Files* menu tab, and browse your computer to choose the relevant file
